Life Journey Throughout 2015

 Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Today is the last day in 2015 and it's time to reflect back on all the things that have happened in 2015; happy, sad and challenging memories. So far, 2015 is the best year for me! I've learnt new things, I've made new friends, I've experience challenging life obstacles and I've gained new knowledge.

I would like to thank for those who always be with me when I was in good and bad situations, people who always inspired me to do something that I love, people who always lend me their shoulders and ears, people who always give advices for me and people who tries their best to make me fall. Thank you so much, because of you guys, I'm still can stand still and be myself─ as Raihanah Ariff.

2015 has taught me about how tough adult life is. As I turned 18 years old in 2015, I managed to work and have my own money. Yeahh! This year I could made some photography works/ projects; weddings, engagement, family portraits, travel landscapes & etc. Thank you so much to my clients who trusted me to capture your sweet moments.

So far, most of my dreams that I want to achieve throughout this year, finally have accomplished; travels, bought new laptop and camera, made new friends and learnt new things. Alhamdulillah. I hope 2016 will be much better than this year, if Allah wills :)

#projectjournal : 2016 planner

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Time flies so fast and now it's almost end of the year 2015. I got some ideas for 2016 and one of the ideas is to make journal planner. I never done this kind of project; daily planner/ journal before this. So, I am so excited to do this project. (ノ≧∀≦)ノ
I even printed out 2016 calendar for this planner. Hiks!

Actually it was a sketchbook that I bought last month at Kaizon and I decided to make my new sketchbook as my journal for 2016. I hope I could do this planner until end of the year 2016 (because I am type of person who love to do halfway things). Lol. Hehe. (︶ω︶)

Nowadays, it's really hard to find cute washi tapes. Huhu. I almost giving up on finding washi tapes because I've visited all bookstores but still I couldn't find it. Hmph. I need to buy cute washi tapes so I can decorate my journal! Ganbatte~!

Memories: 15/10

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

I have problems with my laptop. Although I bought it last April but my laptop seems slow and always crashed. I guess I need to send this laptop to reformat and adding an extra RAM since my laptop is heavy with Adobe applications. Furthermore, next semester I will busy with assignments, presentations and group projects, so I do really need to service my laptop as soon as possible!

Okay, back to the topic. I want to reminisce to last October. I helped my friend, Muna to be her second photographer for a family portraits photoshoot. That day, I just came home from school earlier since classes was canceled. Then, I received a text from her to help her that day. I just said "Yes!" because that was an opportunity for me to learn new things about photography.

Indeed, I've learnt more things about photography from her and I've make new friends. Thanks Muna for this kind of experience! Okay, for this photoshoot I'd used her expensive camera. Lol. I love her camera and lenses tbh. Omg! I love how her lens produced beautiful bokeh.. Btw, that baby is so cute!! (≧∇≦)/

08/12: #projekpiknik 2.0

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Finally I have time and space to update new entry. Yeayy hahahahaha~! Now is my time to enjoy my semester breaks and last Tuesday my friends and I had a picnic. It's actually my last year photography project which is a picnic theme. Because of my hectic schedules since last year so I didn't have time to do that project. Thanks to my friends because finally my project were held! *give flying kisses*

I spent a lot of money just to sure that this project will be excellent! Last Monday, a day before the project, I drove my car to the town because I need to buy fresh flowers, a float balloon and ingredients to bake my cake. I even spent more time to make DIY garlands. Luckily it looks good for my photography project.

Big Bad Wolf in Ipoh

Assalamualaikum and hello guys~!

First of all, I would like to congratulate to STPM students especially my new senpai(s)/ sunbae(s)/ seniors at school for those who got 4.00 pointer and 4-flat in semester 2. Good luck for your semester 3!

Okay, yesterday I went to Big Bad Wolf book sale in PHL Convention Centre, Menglembu, Ipoh, Perak. I am so happy because this is my second times attended to this book sale. For this year, I bought few books because I have my own budget limit since Raya is coming soon and I need to spend money for other stuffs too!

I felt so lucky because I found magazine that I do really really really really want to buy at Big Bad Wolf. It's Kinfolk Magazine. I couldn't believe that they sell it with cheap and affordable prices although the real price for Kinfolk magazine is so pricey for me (as a student). Unfortunately I just found 3 volumes of Kinfolk and all of those were from last year published editions. But nevermind, as long as I can read that magazine then I am okay. LOL.

Besides books, Big Bad Wolf also sell button badges, fridge magnets, crafts and posters. Since I love to collect button badges so I bought few button badges for myself. Ooyeah! This book sale started on last 10th July until this 20th July. So, Perakians what are you waiting for?! Hurry up and spend your money to buy books. To be very honest I rather spend each of my pennies to buy books than shopping over clothes, handbags, makeups and so on!

Thank you for coming to Ipoh, Big Bad Wolf! I hope you guys can come more often or at least twice a year maybe. Hehe.

Artwork: Flowers

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Who doesn't love flowers? I love flowers and for sure I'm not an anthophobia. Last night I practice painting some flowers. I do really need to study and practice more about painting using watercolor because I'm suck using that medium. But I love watercolor because it is easy to use and it looks smooth.

My favourite flower is Baby Breath but I never seen and touch it 'cause in Malaysia it's quite difficult to find it. Every flowers/ plants has their own meaning for example Baby Breath means everlasting love and purity. But I don't know how to paint Baby Breath using watercolor so I just paint another flowers. Sobs.

 Peonies.

 Tulips.

What's your favourite flower? Share with me and why you love it..

Explore: Yong Suan Nasi Kandar

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Yesterday, I had lunch at Yong Suan Coffee Shop. I was born at heart of the city of Perak, which is Ipoh and since I was a kid I ate Nasi Kandar there. Also known as Nasi Ganja and mostly tourists will try this Nasi Ganja. Lol.

For me at least, once a year I will eat at there. Although not at all people love to eat Nasi Ganja, but I do love too.. They gave big plate of rice and you can choose your own meals. They also offer affordable price. Once you taste the Nasi Ganja, you will ask for the second time. That's why it has been called as Nasi Ganja.

For food hunters, I suggest this coffee shop. Their sambal and curry are the best! I swear this Nasi Kandar a.k.a Nasi Ganja is the legend!!

Address: 2, Jalan Yang Kalsom, Taman Jubilee, 30300 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

You need to queue before you buy there. It was a long long long queue~

 Be patient.

 Their sambal is tip top!

p/s: I wish I could meet him at there because Yong Suan Nasi Ganja is one of his favourite. Lol. Wrong timing, I guess..

Assalamualaikum and hello!

I spent times with my family this evening in Kuala Kangsar. It took about 40 minutes from my house. My mom wants to meet her friend. So her friend brought us to somewhere popular with its Laksa Kuala Kangsar. They chatting while my siblings and I were enjoyed ate Laksa and shaved ice (ABC- Ais Batu Campur) or in Korea, it called as Bingsu. What's special is the noodles of Laksa is homemade!

After that, we stopped by at Persisiran Sayong/ Sungai Perak to take pictures/ welfies. Because we were thirsty so we decided to have a drink at Restoran Lagenda, somewhere near to Persisiran Sayong. All of the drinks there have unique names! I've ordered "I Miss You Too" drink which is mix with syrup, soda and lychee. Whereas my brother was ordered "I Love You Too" drink which is mix with ribena, soda and lychee.

My brother also ordering Chicken Chop while my little sister was ordered fried rice. My mother and I were shared french fries. Because all of us ate too much this evening so we were full right now!
