Practicum Journey in High Court of Ipoh

Greetings to all!

New semester has just started and finally I feel relieved and can rest for a while. It is because the orientation week for new intake students had over. It means no more of UUM Minggu Suai Kenal 2019/2020. I'm one of the facilitator for that biggest event and it was superb tiring and exhausting for me. I'm dead inside.

Okay for today, I feel like want to do some throwbacks and reminds of good times during the previous semester break. I've gone through 4 weeks of Practicum I in High Court of Ipoh and it such a golden opportunity that I had in year 2019. What I mean-- not everyone can have a chance to sit beside of Lord Judge during case management in chamber and ask directly whatever that you don't understand on some matters, right?

During 4 weeks of practicum, I spent precious time with friends from other universities like IIUM, UKM, UITM, UNISZA and etc. I was a great experience to get known each other. I made new friends and they're so lovely! OMG I missed them already :')

Things that I do during practicum times were-- every morning I will enter chamber room of Lord Judge to observe case management between lawyers and how they try to settle their disputes without having trial. Most of the times, I will enter Senior Assistant Registrars' room to observe cases regarding bankruptcy, probate and letter of administration and etc. After lunch break, I will enter open court to follow up some cases trial and judgements. Sometimes I will wandering around the court and their library to read some law books. If there's no criminal trials (I'm such a particular person! I will choose to hear criminal case trial rather than civil case trial LOL!!), I will go to the Ipoh Sessions/ Magistrate Court across the street of High Court of Ipoh to observe remand process and etc. Other than that, I took a chance to read the real file cases that took place in High Court of Ipoh.

4 weeks of practicum in court aren't enough to be honest for me although sometimes I feel bored because there's not much of works to do but I  hope when I do my Practicum II in law firm next year, I can learn more things and do some field work to set up the documents. I pray to God that someday I can serve before the Lord Judge in High Court of Ipoh as a lawyer. Insya Allah.

Thank you to Lord Judge YA Dato' Mohd. Radzi, YA Tuan Anselm, YA Dato' Hashim, Puan Zulyana, Tuan Hafiizh, Puan Geetha, the public prosecutors, senior lawyers, bailiffs, staffs & etc for those who helping me through out my practicum days in High Court of Ipoh. May God repay your kindness!

p/s: I want to post photos with Lord Judge but I'm worried that it will be kind of confidential, so please enjoy looking at photos of my friends and I. Hehe! :)

First day in court v last day in court. No more skirt and file!
I brought Baby Brown Bear and wore pants :p

UUM students with Site Supervisor, Encik Firdaus.

It such an adventure day for me when the staff brought us to the old underground tunnel + prison and went to the rooftop when I was wearing skirt on that day fml!
That was first photo with new friends from other universities.
My friend's last day in court v UUM student's last day in court.
Our first luncheon together v our first and last mock trial in court.
Thank you so much to Puan Zulyana and Tuan Hafiizh for the guides!

Art Geeks: Leonardo da Vinci: Opera Omnia Art Exhibition

Greetings to all!

I think I'm back for real (let's pray that my enthusiasm will last longer). It has been more than a year I last updating my blog with new entry. Currently I am having semester breaks for about three months and gotta be third year student this upcoming September yayyy! Be one of the visitors for art exhibition Leonardo da Vinci that was held at National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur was one of the activities that I did during semester breaks.

Went to Kuala Lumpur on 9th August as my family got matters to do there and I took the chance to visit National Art Gallery for the sake of Leonardo da Vinci art exhibition. I'm not going to lie but I was squealing in excitement because it was my first time experiencing a very spectacular-popular-international art exhibition. Usually I went to see local artists art exhibitions but this time I got a chance to see the fucking Leonardo da Vinci's artworks! *screaming in silence*

The Leonardo da Vinci: Opera Omnia traveling art exhibition is a part of series of events around the world to celebrate the life of Leonardo da Vinci and to commemorate the 500th year since his death in 1519. The curator of this exhibition was Prof. Antonio Paolucci. Some of the artworks that have been exhibited were the famous Mona Lisa portrait, The Last Supper, Lady With an Ermine, Head of Women and others. My favourite artworks of him is The Annunciation, The Last Supper and Mona Lisa.

Besides that, I enjoyed to see other local art exhibitions such as The Merdeka: A Collection of Dato' Yap Lim Sen, The Young Contemporaries (BMS) and Pause... A Collective Consciousness. Just by looking at those creative artworks, my brain starts to spark new ideas and I feel so grateful for that. How they can think and get such creative, unique, breathtaking ideas to create and design artworks? I always amazed with people who are artistic and visionary!

My favourite artworks so far from local artists!

That's all.

Explore: Hokkaido Ice-Cream Puff Ipoh

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone!

I’m backㅡ even for a while. Okay, today after I fetch my brother from train station, I brought him and my little sister to explore new place. Actually, I just realized that this ice-cream exists in Ipoh. Lol! The place that I want to share is Hokkaido Ice-cream Puff.

I like the taste of the puff. Crunchy and crispy. Not so sweet. Just nice when you eat with the ice-cream. The taste of ice-cream is just like other ice-cream to be honest. I decided to try mint flavour, my brother choose cookies & cream while my little sister choose chocolate chip flavour. If I not mistaken, there are about 9 flavours to choose. What about the price? It’s affordable. Each of the ice-cream puff just costs RM4.30.

Address: 34, Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Taman Jubilee, 30300 Ipoh, Perak.
Operation hours: Everyday opens. 12:30pm - 8:pm.

Additional, today also I eat Hokkaido baked cheese tart. Thank to my little sister, she paid for it. So, basically today I eat everything about "Hokkaido". Lol. Ice-cream puff and cheese tarts.

That's all for today. Bye! :)

23/03: Golf Clinic in UUM

real grass vs grass mat

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

I'm back after my last entry. Okay, today I'm gonna share my experiences that I've gained during Golf Clinic in Universiti Utara Malaysia [read: yesterday]. Actually this is soooo last minute plan when I decided to join the clinic this weekend (eventhough I feel like want to sleep the whole day in the weekend). But then, I feel like this is the great opportunity for me to try and explore new thing. Another reason why I wanna join this golf clinic because I don't get a chance to have golf sport as my Ko K. This is because I wrote down golf at the second choice and art at the first place. And then, I was selected to be in art group for Ko K and lost the opportunity to learn more about golf in Ko K.  Sobs. Pity me! :')

I think this golf clinic such a good idea and the registration fee so cheap, like-- you pay RM10 and you will get merit, certificate and experiences playing golf.  I've learnt about the type of the golf club and every golfer needs to have at least 14 and below golf clubs that consist of hybrid, putter, woods and irons. See yaaa~ I even remember the name of the golf clubs! LOL.

For me, the hardest part in playing golf was when I need to practice puttering the ball. It's because I need to rest/ lock my wrists and let my shoulder swings the putter. It looks like it's easy to putter the ball but-- nayyy! But, alhamdulillah I managed to score some goals in putter session. Yayyyy!

p/s: please pray for my "late step-grandpa", he just passed away yesterday evening. Al-fatihah :'(

02/03: Law School Family Day

 Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

It has been such a long time I didn't update new post. Sorry, but lately I am so busy and I even can't manage my time properly. Seem I have started my second semester as degree student in Universiti Utara Malaysia, so my proper life before this has been distracted by a lot of programs, assignments and other things.

On 2nd March 2018, my colleagues and I have organized such a big program in my school which was Family Day of Law School. Oh yeah, by the way, I am a LLB student and I still can't believe that I will pursue my studies in Law. Okay, back to the story, I am a committee of Publicity Bureau and to be honest I'm sick of being committee in Publicity Bureau because in last semester, I've been in Publicity Bureau too but in other programs. So, I hope in the future, I can be committee for other bureau. Oh yeah, my posters for Family Day program has been rejected for 3 times and at the end, they use other student's poster. To be honest, I am kinda sad but heyy-- that's make me strong!

Alhamdulillah, we managed to conduct such a big program like this properly and seniors were happy about it! There's a lot of outdoor games and I can't joined them because I need to record, make live in Instagram and photograph the program through out the day. So sad! I wish next Family Day, I can play the games.

There were two session of Family Day. The first session was in the morning, where they played outdoor activities. For the second session, we continued our program after maghrib. Oh yeah, the theme for this time Family Day of Law School was SUPERHEROES and I'm in the team of Iron Man. Yeayyyyy Iron Man for life!

 We had fun together!

I am 18th Gen of LLB student in UUM.
Thank you Danial for this picture, at least I have a photo of me U__U

From the first year till the fourth year of the LLB students.

First year students and the committees of the program.

 Second session of the program.

Even though I'm a publicity bureau, but I also helped with the decorations for the second session.

Me with the decoration team for the second session of Family Day Law School.

my first design of the poster for this program. Rejected!

second design of poster for this program. Rejected!

last design of the program. Rejected!
I need to practice and study more about the design and animation.

Okay. Got to go now. I have class after this. Insya Allah, I will update new story in the future.
Thank you for reading :)

Review: Movie— The Maze Runner: Death Cure

Assalamualaikum and hello fellas!

I just went home from watching "The Maze Runner: Death Cure" with my friends. I've been waiting for this movie since the previous series, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials which means since 2015. This movie starring Dylan O' Brien as Thomas, Thomas Brodie Sangster as Newt, Lee Ki Hong as Minho, and Kaya Scodelaria as Teresa. To be very honest, I am so excited to watch this movie because of Thomas Sangster! OH MYY CUTIE PIE MA FOREVER CHILDHOOD CRUSH! LOL.

Synopsis:
Thomas, Newt, and Frypan are the only "Gladers" left that immune to the Flare virus that infected the world's population. They want to save their friend which is Minho who has been kidnapped by the organization WCKD to be tested for Flare cure. Minho was located at the "Last City" (headquarter of WCKD).

Favourite parts:
So far my favorite part is when Thomas and Newt managed to save Minho and they run away from the WCKD. I love to see their friendship and when they gather, they like to do some stupid crazy thing like jump off to a pool just to save their lives. I don't want to give a spoiler but if you have read the book series, you guys will know that Newt will die. I'm almost shed tears because of my favorite character dead and it's Newt dude! How can you're not sad if one of your friends dead (okay, I put myself in Tommy's shoe, that's why I am so emotional!)

Comments:
I will rate The Maze Runner: Death Cure for 7/10 stars even though I'm one of the fans of The Maze Runner series (not so hardcore because I haven't read the books yet). We should give a big applause to the director, Wes Ball for directing this movie so nicely. I mean, I adore the cinematography and the CGI effects that have been used in this movie. And also, this movie managed to get me shooked once because of zombie (I'm the type of person who doesn't easily get shocked). I recommend to every Gladers/ Runners (fans of The Maze Runner) out there to watch this movie because this will be the last series of The Maze Runner. Sobs!

the proof that I watched the movie; have a picture of me and the movie poster

That's all for today. Thank you for reading and enjoy the movie! :)
